As an eco-conscious architect, our client had two key specifications for their project. First, they wanted only reclaimed wood to be used. Second, the desk design needed to complement the minimal and modern aesthetic already present in their apartment.

As an eco-conscious architect, our client had two key specifications for their project. First, they wanted only reclaimed wood to be used. Second, the desk design needed to complement the minimal and modern aesthetic already present in their apartment.

  • This sleek and minimalist design features a large beveled edge and a clean, minimal structure. The plan was to mount the desk on a brick wall, making it a floating desk. Despite being over seven feet long, it maintains a light footprint.

    The construction process was unique. Most of the desk was crafted in the woodshop and then assembled on-site.
